Important Notes

• Foreigners applying for an extension of stay through e-petition must currently be residing in Korea. Applications cannot be submitted from abroad.
• If you depart Korea before your e-petition is reviewed, your application may be rejected. If you have travel plans after submission, please confirm the review result before leaving.
• For Visiting Family (F-1, under 17) applicants, please verify that the current residence matches the legal applicant's (e.g., parent's) address before applying. If they do not match, change the residence first; otherwise the application will be rejected.
